1. Accuracy and Hallucinations
AI systems can produce outputs that appear plausible but contain inaccuracies, fabricated information or so-called hallucinations. AI-generated results may be incomplete, outdated or incorrect, and should not be treated as authoritative without independent verification.
2. Client Verification
You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated results before relying on or acting upon them. This is especially important for decisions with legal, financial, medical, safety or other significant consequences.
3. Human Review
We recommend, and in some cases require, appropriate human review of AI outputs before they are used in production or shared with end users. Human oversight helps catch errors, bias and unsafe content that automated systems may miss.
4. No Guarantee of Business Outcomes
We do not guarantee any particular business result, performance level, accuracy rate or return on investment from AI services. Results depend on data quality, configuration, use case and many factors outside our control.
5. Data and Third-Party Model Providers
Delivering AI services may involve processing your data using third-party model providers and cloud platforms. Such providers handle data under their own terms and policies. You are responsible for ensuring that any data you provide may lawfully be processed in this way, and for not submitting sensitive or regulated data unless appropriate safeguards are in place.
6. Intellectual Property and Ownership of Outputs
Ownership and permitted use of AI-generated outputs are governed by the applicable engagement terms and the terms of any underlying model providers. AI outputs may not always be eligible for the same intellectual property protection as human-created works, and similar outputs may be generated for other users.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of AI outputs does not infringe the rights of third parties.
7. Bias and Limitations
AI models are trained on data that may contain biases, gaps or errors, which can be reflected in their outputs. AI systems also have inherent limitations in reasoning, context understanding and handling of edge cases. You should evaluate outputs critically and apply appropriate controls.
8. Client Responsibility for Compliant Use
You are responsible for using AI services and outputs in a manner that complies with all applicable laws, regulations and industry standards, including those governing privacy, consumer protection, intellectual property, discrimination and sector-specific requirements. We are not responsible for non-compliant use of AI outputs.
